Your resort fees

Starting amount is illustrative, not a hotel quote.

Accuracy and data

Published fees may change or differ under your booked offer. Check the hotel’s final quote and waiver eligibility. A listed fee is not a guarantee for every reservation. A tax rate marked estimated requires confirmation; an unknown fee is not treated as zero.

How the Las Vegas resort fee calculator works

The fee subtotal is the nightly resort fee multiplied by nights and rooms. If tax applies to the fee, the subtotal is multiplied by the entered tax percentage. The total is the fee subtotal plus that tax; it does not include the room charge.

Selecting a listed property loads its stored fee and shows the official source and check date. Editing that amount makes it your input. Choose a custom hotel when your property is absent, and enter the fee from its booking disclosure. The starter collection is not a complete directory of Las Vegas resorts.

Use the waiver checkbox only after confirming that it applies to your reservation. It changes this estimate to zero resort fees, but it does not waive a charge with the hotel or establish your eligibility. Keep a copy of the relevant offer terms when comparing a waived fee against a paid stay.

Worked examples with stated assumptions

These scenarios use illustrative inputs from our shared data, not hotel offers. All amounts are USD.

One room, three nights

An illustrative $50 nightly fee totals $150 before tax. Assuming 13.38% tax applies, fee tax is $20.07 and the displayed total rounds to $170. The room price is excluded.

Two rooms, three nights

At the same illustrative $50 fee and assumed 13.38% tax, the fee subtotal is $300 and tax is $40.14. The displayed total rounds to $340. A confirmed waiver would remove the fee and its tax.

Compare Las Vegas resort fees by hotel

A nightly room rate alone does not describe the amount you will pay. Compare resort fee totals over the same nights and room count, then use the hotel comparison tool to include the room charge and parking. A lower fee does not necessarily produce a lower complete stay cost.

A resort fee and a refundable incidental hold serve different purposes. This tool calculates the fee expense. The trip budget calculator has a separate field for card holds so available credit is not confused with money spent.

Published inclusions and exemptions can be offer-specific. Read the hotel’s terms rather than assuming a fee is optional because you do not use an amenity. Do not mark a waiver based only on a rewards tier name without checking the eligible reservation conditions.

What is excluded from this fee total?

Room charges, room tax on the base room price, parking, extra occupants, pets, and purchases during the stay are excluded. If your nightly quote already includes the fee, use the complete quote in hotel comparison instead of adding this result a second time.

The calculator does not give legal advice about mandatory fees or tax exemptions. It shows the calculation under your selected inputs. Confirm the property’s tax treatment and applicable rate, particularly when comparing properties in different jurisdictions.

Las Vegas hotel resort fee questions

How much is the resort fee at my Las Vegas hotel?

Select your property to see the stored nightly amount and its source, or enter the amount from your booking quote. A missing property or unverified figure means you need to check with the hotel. It does not mean the fee is free.

Is the Las Vegas resort fee charged per person or per room?

This calculator applies the entered fee per room, per night. Verify that basis on your reservation. If a quote uses a different charging method, calculate its total separately rather than applying an incompatible nightly amount.

Does tax apply to resort fees?

The verified hotel terms in the starter collection state that resort fees are taxable. The tax percentage still needs to match your property and quote. The checkbox lets you use the confirmed treatment instead of assuming every custom hotel follows the same rule.

Can I avoid resort fees in Las Vegas?

Use only a waiver or fee-free offer confirmed by the provider. Eligibility may depend on both membership and reservation terms. Selecting a waiver here changes the estimate but does not alter your reservation or guarantee approval.

Which Las Vegas hotels have no resort fee?

The starter collection is not a verified fee-free hotel list. For any hotel advertised without a resort fee, check the final booking disclosure and enter zero only when the property confirms it. Compare the complete stay price as well as the fee.

Why is my booking total different from this calculator?

The result includes resort fees and their selected tax only. Your booking can also include the room price, room tax, extra occupants, parking, and other charges. Match the fee, room count, nights, and tax treatment before comparing totals.

Data sources & review dates

Property fees and parking rules are checked against official pages. Property tax applicability must be confirmed on your quote; the prefilled rate is an editable planning assumption. Fee and parking data is due for review after 30 days. Unverified data is never described as a confirmed price.
