Which Garage to Use
Mandalay Bay sits at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd and covers a large footprint. Parking in the wrong garage means a long walk to where you actually want to go.
- Main hotel garage: Turn off Las Vegas Boulevard onto Mandalay Bay Road. Use this garage for the casino floor, hotel check-in, StripSteak, and the main resort promenade. Six stories, direct access to the casino interior.
- South garage (Convention Center and Shark Reef): Located near Russell Road and Frank Sinatra Drive. Use this garage for the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Shark Reef Aquarium and Michelob ULTRA Arena events. Parking here for Shark Reef specifically saves you 15 to 20 minutes of walking through the casino.
Take a paper ticket at the entry gate. Pay at the automated kiosks near the elevator banks before returning to your car. The exit gates have no cashiers.
How to Park Free at Mandalay Bay
Nevada residents: A valid Nevada driver’s licence gets you the first three hours of self-parking at no charge. Skip the payment kiosks inside.
Drive to the exit gate, insert your ticket, and scan the barcode on your driver’s licence. The gate lifts automatically. This benefit is suspended during major arena events and holidays.
MGM Rewards members: Pearl status and above are park free. Gold status and above get both self-parking and valet free.
The MGM Rewards Mastercard automatically grants Pearl status. Active military and veterans can bring a military ID to the rewards desk for an automatic Pearl status upgrade.
Valet Parking
The valet entrance sits at the main hotel front door. The rate is $40 per day regardless of the day of the week.
Hotel guests get in-and-out valet privileges. You can text the valet desk using the link on your digital ticket, retrieve your car, and return later without paying an additional fee. Non-guests pay $40 each time they use the service.
The $40 fee goes to the resort, not the driver. Tip $3 to $5 cash when your car is retrieved.
Special Events and Oversized Vehicles
During concerts, UFC events, and Raiders games at Allegiant Stadium, MGM implements event parking pricing. Rates can reach $50 or higher and the Nevada locals free window is suspended. If you are attending an Allegiant Stadium game, consider walking the Hacienda Bridge from Mandalay Bay rather than driving to the stadium directly.
For oversized vehicles and lifted trucks, the standard garages have a clearance of approximately 6’10”. An oversized lot near Excalibur handles vehicles that do not fit. No reservation needed, first come first served, typically around $50 per day.
EV charging is available through the valet service. Request it when you drop your car. Arrive with a reasonable charge in case the ports are occupied.
